Snowmobile Safety Graduates

 

The Reedsburg Snowmobiler's Club announces another successful graduating class in snowmobile safety.  Twenty-one people obtained their DNR approved snowmobile safety certification on November 11th.  They are pictured in no particular order: Joe Craker, Kole Crary, Kory Crary, Kalyn Dempsey,  Ashley Gher, Cody Holby, Miranda Larson, Alaina Laursen, Elmer McPherson, Clayton Mead, Dylan Mears, Cheyanne Messer, Tom Mittlesteadt, Brock Pfaff, Cassandra Ring, Alex Schmitz, Allison Steinhorst, Hannah Steinhorst, Max Steinhorst, Brock Temple and Kylee Temple.

 

Also the club wants to thank Dave Horzewski, DNR warden, for his participation with the class.  Instructors from the club are Dick Gant, Jason Henke, Jeff Henke, Jim Wittenberger and Stephanie Kroeger. Also, Mike Cole from the Baraboo River Runers club was an instructor.

 

Another thank you to the Reedsburg Outdoor Club and Matt Miller for the use of their facilty for the classroom.

 

The Reedsburg Snowmobiler's Club also presented a $200 check to the Reedsburg United Way and to Gary Williams for use with SOAC.  A $100 donation was made to Sue Wobschall, Sauk County Human Services.

Anyone born after 1985 needs to complete the class to ride a snowmobile on the trails! 

A person has to be 12 years of age and have completed the class to ride a snowmobile alone!

A CD-ROM course is available for anyone 16 years old or older. Contact the DNR (click here) to have the CD-ROM sent to you.

CD-ROM fee is $10.00
